NEW YORK CITY
Runners who deferred from 2020 or 2021 will be allowed to enter for 2022 without further payment, but you must confirm your intention to run. You will receive an email in November, to which you must respond by the specified date if you wish to run in 2022. You may not transfer your entry to another person. Remaining spots will be filled by lottery. If you miss the deadline to respond, you will have to enter the lottery or be placed at the end of the wait list. There will no further deferrals to 2023.
Volunteers who worked a complete shift at the mile 90 or 95 aid stations, or at the finish line, will have guaranteed free entry for 2022. Those who worked a complete shift at aid stations from mile 56-85 will have guaranteed non-comped entry for 2022. There are exceptions for those who I've already spoken with. If you have any questions about your status, please contact me. A form will be available here in November for eligible volunteers to enter, please check back.
Remaining spots after deferrals and volunteer slots will be filled by lottery. Total number of available spots for all runners is expected to be 140, but that is yet to be determined. Those not selected in the lottery will automatically be placed on a wait list in the order in which their entry was received. The form to enter the lottery will be available here in November, with the lottery to be held in early December. Check back here for specific dates.
The entry fee for 2022 will be $130 for the 100 mile race and $85 for 100 km. Refunds, minus a $25 administration fee, will be given if notified by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 15, 2022. No refunds will be given after that time. Runners who wish to switch from the 100 km race to the 100 mile race may do so by notifying the race director by email and paying the $45 price difference by June 11, 2022. There will be no partial refunds for those switching from the 100 mile race to the 100 km race. Runners may decide on race day to stop at 100 km if they wish. There are no deferrals or transfers.
Our application form and race have gender options for male, female, and non-binary. No runner's gender will be questioned or require verification.
